Servicing and Technical Support

Photon Imaging Systems Ltd has a network of qualified service engineers to offer service and technical support to both our x-ray and processor installations. We carry a vast stock of spare parts, with telephone support and technical advice available from our Head Office. With the expertise available, many problems can be dealt with by telephone without the need for a visit by an engineer.

Photon can also offer servicing for other manufacturers' x-ray equipment and processing systems.

With the experience within the organisation we can assist with most radiographic queries. Photon Imaging Systems offers advice on the setting up of a new x-ray facility or darkroom, x-ray film/screen combinations and their specific applications. As part of on-going support we offer Servicing and Technical Support, Customer Training and an X-ray Health Check.

Customer Training

Photon Imaging Systems offers training for customers on use of equipment and practical radiography. This is tailored to the requirements of the individual and includes topics such as care and use of automatic processors, and specific training for veterinary nurses covering radiographic topics relevant to the Nursing Syllabus.

X-ray Health Check

For customers within the UK, Photon Imaging Systems will carry out a 'Health Check' on your radiography facilities. This will include darkroom checks for light leakage and safelight filtration; darkroom ventilation; condition of screens and screen/film compatibility; screen/film contact; safety check of lead aprons and gloves, and x-ray tube light beam diaphragm/x-ray beam alignment test. A written report of results from the visit will be supplied.
